1977 Porsche 924 Martini Edition

We're not experts on collector and vintage cars but we know something special when we see it. This is one of those "something specials" if ever we have had one to sell.

This is a one owner, very limited edition car that has had the best of care and was driven less than eight hundred miles a year.

This limited edition 924 was labeled the Martini Edition. Also known as the Championship Edition, it was a celebration vehicle of Porsches racing triumphs.

It was distinguished by special Racing White paint and Martini Racing stripe, echoing the look of the winning 935s and 936s,

with extra wide 185/70 HR 14 tires on Racing white light alloy wheels, front and rear sway bars,

genuine leather covered steering wheel, red, white and blue Martini Rossi stripes on the outside and on the headrests,

scarlet red carpets with seats of red corduroy inlays and blue piping, a special commemorative World Champion console plaque,

plus three stereo speakers, one in front and two in back, fully retractable antenna and FM noise suppression kit.

They were built from December 1976 thru March 1977.

The plaque on the center console celebrates the victories of the 1969, 70, 71 and 76 Martini Rossi 935 and 936 racing cars.

The car has been completely inspected and serviced, including replacing the timing belt and water pump.
