The SL320 has a 3.2 liter six cylinder engine. The five-speed automatic transmission is superbly smooth. In fact, everything about the SL is superbly smooth.

As you'd expect the list of standard equipment goes on and on, but the more notable items not already mentioned include a removable hard top,

traction control and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
